Gateway free 365 not on laptop

Just opened the gateway ultra slim notebook that advertises a free year of 365. The card just says to open an app such as word, sign into account and accept license agreement. It is asking me to pay 6.99 a month. How do I get the free 365??

    If that device states that it includes a 'free' 1year sub to Office 365 Personal, there is no card generally there is an office shortcut on the desktop that you double click to commence the activation process where you add/create an MS Account. The process is specific to your PC Maker, its not an MS install process
