Microsoft 365 for business vs personal

I have Microsoft 365 for business and I think it's too much for me. I operate my business out of my home. I had MS 365 for personal first and switched subscriptions. I want to switch back to MS personal but don't know the easiest way to move my files from the One Drive I have to the personal One Drive. Should I renew my personal subscription first? Microsoft Outlook is included in the personal subscription now right?

    Hi Craig Addison,

I go through your post carefully and as per your description, if you don’t have Office 365 personal subscription now, you need to renew your Office 365 personal subscription first then you move your file from OneDrive.

For moving the files, you use OneDrive sync client to Sync OneDrive for work or school to your computer to your local machine and then migrate the data to your OneDrive personal account. You can download new OneDrive sync client and follow the steps in this article:

Get started with the new OneDrive sync client in Windows

Regarding to “Microsoft Outlook is included in the personal subscription now right?” yes Office 365 personal subscription include Outlook 365.

    Reference: Microsoft 365 Personal

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Best Regards

    Waqas Muhammad

365 Personal or Family is not licensed for business use.

You cannot downgrade Buis to Personal, you would have to stop OneDrive sync, download all contents to the local PC before uninstalling 365 bus, then buying/installing the 365 version you require

Regarding to “Microsoft Outlook is included in the personal subscription now right?” yes Office 365 personal subscription include Outlook 365.

Is Outlook 365 the same as Outlook in the business subscription? Can I use my own domain name like I do now?

    Thanks!
