How to obtain Office 365 for nonprofits

I run a non profit.

I completed the procedure here: https://nonprofit.microsoft.com/en-us/getting-started

I created a Microsoft account

I was told my nonprofit trial is ready to use

I set up a license for myself, so that I have assigned 1/25 licenses

I tried to download Office 365, but could only see paid products

When it seemed that I was about to be able to download something, I got this message:

"You currently have not been assigned a license that includes the Office desktop apps. Contact your admin for more information about how to get Office for your organisation."

So far as I know, I AM the admin

So I cannot give this information to myself, because I don't know how to get Office for my organisation.  Therefore there is no-one to tell me how to get office.

So that is why I came here.

What steps do I now go through to get Office for my organisation?

Hi Matthew_Pollock,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft community.

Based on your description, I've checked from Compare Office 365 Nonprofit Plans | Office 365 (microsoft.com) that there're no desktop client for Office 365 like Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. for both Microsoft 365 Business Basic Donation and Office 365 E1 Donation.

However, you may further confirm by submitting your request on Nonprofit offers (microsoft.com).

Thanks & Stay safe,
