What are the keyboard shortcuts in the Excel 365 local app for format painter copy and format painter paste?

    You could press Alt+H, F, P to activate the Format Painter, but using the keyboard to select a target range cancels it, so that's probably not what you want.

    You could do the following instead:

    Select the source range (using the mouse or keyboard)

    Press Ctrl+C to copy the range.

    Select the top left cell of the target range (using the mouse or keyboard)

    Press Alt+H, V, R to past formats only.

    Re:  shortcut to paste formats

    "Copy" of course is   Ctrl + C

    And to paste formats...

    (Not much of a "shortcut") is    Ctrl + Alt + V  (then)  T + Enter

    Thank you.  Press Ctrl+C to copy the range.  Then  Press Alt+H, V, R to past formats only certainly works.  I wonder if I will remember all those letters. :)
