OneDrive on Windows 7, Error Code:0x8004de40

Hi Community,

I have an issue connecting to my OneDrive. I have searced the forums and have tried everything suggested but nothing has seemed to work. 

I am able to connect to OneDrive using my web browser. I am also able to connect to OneDrive using a different computer in the house. I have content I have created in OneNote on my laptop and it also won't sync, even though if I use the web app it does work. 

It last synced on 6th of April, but has not worked since.  

So far I have tried the following: 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Perfect..the MS Fix Tool worked like a charm. Had this issue with two of my clients. Fixed both of them.

    Hi,

    Thanks very much for your suggestion. Unfortunately I have already tried to reset that and it hasn't helped. 

    I have also tried to connect my internet to different ISPs (Home and Office) and have the same issue.

    That would be a win7/network issue, if you are using a modem, reset the modem

    Win7 went out of support Jan 2020 and as of that date no more updates of any type
