When you click the Chart button you should see submenus showing you available chart types and then you select the chart type you want inserted.

Are you not seeing the submenus?

    Hi Kelsiie,

To add a chart in the Word document, you need to use the Word application because Word for the web doesn’t support adding the chart in the documents. So, I request you open the Word document in the Word application and insert the chart into the document.

    Best Regards,

    Ivy
