I have a MacBook Pro with maOS Big Sur 11.2.3 and am using Microsoft Excel 365 for Mac, version 16.47.1. Very randomly I cannot enter additional lines within a cell in Excel. I am using the COMMAND+OPTION+RETURN shortcut although I've also tried the COMMAND+CONTROL+RETURN option as well. Wrap Text is on. For some cells I can enter one additional line but not more; for other cells I cannot enter any additional lines. Please help!

I'm not sure why either of those combinations ever work :-)
The strokes in Mac Excel are:
