how can I download more shapes and graphs to microsoft word or power points ?

The most features are found in the Microsoft 365 version and any new features will be released in that version and not the perpetual license versions like Office 2016.

By default, is not possible to add more "Shapes" to the PowerPoint Shapes Gallery, or to have a custom gallery, basically it is a limitation.

But I suggest you to send your feedback to PG (product group) through the Microsoft PowerPoint User Voice, is the way to communicate with them, they always see ideas and suggestions from community users in order to improve the app.

By other hand, there are a lot of Add-Ins on internet to improve this features (for free and paid)
