Watermark Issues

Hello!

I have successfully added a watermark to the documents that I am trying to print at home and the first few pages printed perfectly, with the watermark visible. My ink was running low so I had to stop printing half way through and now that I have replaced my ink, the documents will not print with the watermark on and I cannot figure out why.

I have done some reading and followed instructions for file -> options -> display -> "print drawings created in word" and "print background colours and images", which has not worked.

Has anyone got another idea of how I can fix this?

The only other things I can find are about adding a watermark or it not showing in the preview (which it does, it just wont physically print).

Thank you!

    Thank you for your reply.

I have checked all through the print preview and it does not stop anywhere, the watermark is present all the way through the document, it just wont print on any of the pages.

If you see the watermark in Print Preview, the problem is likely with your printer settings. Try updating your printer driver.

What happens if you save as a pdf? Is the watermark showing?

    Thank you for your reply.

As stated in the original post, I have checked that the boxes for both drawings and background colours/images were ticked (they were). I have also tried unticking them, saving it, then going back in and ticking it again. This has not worked.

My print queue was clear when I checked it and after rebooting both computer and printer, it still is not doing it.

    Thank you!

This is likely a Section break problem.

See Troubleshooting Watermarks and Watermarks in Ribbon Versions of Word which are different parts of my chapter on Sections.

Using Print Preview, find where the watermark stops and try adding it again.
