Fonts changing when saving as a pdf.

When I save a microsoft word document as a pdf, the fonts change. I am using "source sans pro" in my word text, but this changes to the "arial" font in Acrobat pdf. I have tried embedding the fonts but this does not help.

If the font is changing, it may NOT be embeddable and the alternative is to access the Options dialog on the Save As dialog when the PDF (*.pdf) type is selected and check the box for "Bitmap text when fonts may not be embedded".

Doug's suggestion did not work when saving the document in it's Source Sans Pro font. I change the text to Times New Roman and it stayed in that font when I saved as a pdf. This happens to all word documents. When I saved excel tables as pdfs, I don't encounter this issue.

    2. Change your document to another Font such as Times New Roman or Calibri and update us if it fixes the issue.
    3. Does this happen to a particular document or all documents you are working on?

Feel free to post back and let us know how it goes at your end.

    Best Regards,

    Christophe
