Microsoft Word Colors have changed.

I've been using Microsoft word for years, currently hold an Office (Home & Student) license, which includes Word 2019. However, I haven't used Word in a month, that is until today when I had some work to do.

To my surprise, all the colours of the documents got inverted for some reason. I've attached a few pictures for reference:

No, the page colour isn't set to black. It's actually white but inverted. Here's a short screen record so that you know what I'm talking about:

Some of the readers might know, this isn't a new problem, but I had to post this since none of them helped, and most of the unsloved problems in this forum are locked out anyway. I don't have high contrast enabled, neither do I find any option in MS Word advanced settings that says 'Disable hardware acceleration' or anything (some previous responses to this problem suggest checking that box). I only have a single plug-in installed which I've been using since the time I've purchased my laptop 2 years ago, so I highly doubt if that'd create any problem out of the blue. Even then I tried to remove the plug-in, and then another strange dialogue shows up:

It is strange since I only have one account set up in my laptop which also happens to be the admin account and I haven't signed into Word with my school account either.

My only hope is to have some technical support staff actually look into this and help me fix this before this question gets locked too. After all, the feedback hub app that comes with Windows never seemed like it was being read by people at Microsoft, instead it looks like a forum filled with frustrated users who comment on each others problems and god knows if someone ever found it useful.

You can try a some other Office theme than "Black." If you want to continue using the Black theme, select the option "Disable dark mode" at File > Options > General. The option is only present if the Black theme has been selected (see also https://insider.office.com/en-us/blog/try-dark-mode-in-word).
