My presentation has shrunk when I changed the format from landscape to portrait. I have tried resetting it in slide size but it doesn't change. How can I make it the right size again please?

I'm not sure how to describe this but my whole presentation shrunk as shown below. I've tried to change it in screen size to ensure fit and maximize but nothing changed.

Eleanor, thanks for the reply. I understand that when you changed the presentation format the objects you had inserted were reduced and they no longer returned to normal size. You can try to undo this by clicking Ctrl+Z. If it doesn't work you will need to resize this object manually.

Hi, EleanorSmith. My name is Hilla. I am an independent advisor, Thanks for being part of the Microsoft Community, I will to help you.

To resize your presentation to standard size (4:3) follow the steps below.

    1. On the Design tab of the Ribbon, locate Slide Size in the Customize group, near the far right end of the toolbar.
    2. Select Slide Size, and then select either Standard (4:3).

When PowerPoint is unable to automatically scale your content, it prompts you with two options:

    • Maximize: Select this option to increase the size of your slide content when you are scaling to a larger slide size. Choosing this option could result in your content not fitting on the slide.
    • Ensure Fit: Select this option to decrease the size of your content when scaling to a smaller slide size. This could make your content appear smaller, but you’ll be able to see all content on your slide.

If that doesn't work, try resetting by selecting <Custom Slide Size>

In the Slide Size box, click the down arrow next to Slides sized to and select one of the options

If that doesn't work, try resetting by selecting <Custom Slide Size>

In the Height and Width boxes, PowerPoint accepts measurements in inches, centimeters, or pixels. Type a number followed by a space and the appropriate abbreviation: pol , cm or px .

If you want to go back to the default 4:3 screen, type

Width: 10 in (or) 25.4 cm

Height: 7.5 in (or) 19.05 cm

Portrait and Landscape apply to handouts, not the presentation.

Are you talking about standard and wide-screen?

    Some other size?
