Saving Word to PDF messes up my list numbers

Hi,

When I save my Word doc (.docx) to PDF, strange things happen. In the PDF version, the list numbers are smaller than they should be and misaligned. In Word, however, the list numbers are fine. I can't find any information on this issue, and I'm not sure if I clicked the wrong setting to cause this.

    How are you saving to PDF? If you are using Save As from within Word, instead try "printing" to a PDF virtual printer/converter such as Microsoft Print to PDF (which is built into Windows 10) or a third-party product such as PrimoPDF.

    How were these numbers created? Using Word's built-in numbering facility?

    In the original Word document, does everything look as you would expect? In particular, does everything look OK in the preview at File > Print?

    I created these numbers using the built-in facility. The numbers are part of a custom style I made but this style is based on the built-in function.

    Everything looks okay in the Word editor. When previewing the document at File > Print, it looks okay too.

    Funnily, my colleague can save the document to PDF from her computer with no issues (as in, in the PDF format the document looks the same as the Word format and there are no numbering issues).
