Solution to MS Word problem - wide right margin

Solution: wide right margin problem. In a blank document, my text kept wrapping after a couple of inches leaving a very wide right margin. I checked my margins and paragraph settings for indents - all ok. I deleted Office and re-downloaded it. Same problem. I finally figured out that, in my last document, I had set Layout to three columns then set it as default for all docs. I changed the Layout back to one column and set that as default for all docs in the Normal template. Problem solved!

    also, you could try starting Word in safe mode or execute it inside

    one environment of a Windows clean boot.

    I did not know about the safe mode or clean boot possibilities. Thank you, Isra! It is a pleasure to see and post answers to MS and WIndows issues. I save a lot of time by checking here first!
