Authenticator App: Missing 2FA Connections

I recently got a new phone. When all the data was ported over I no longer have access in my Authenticator to certain apps/websites that had 2 factor authentication setup. When I try to login to those websites manually with the credentials saved I am prompted to provide the 2 factor code which I no longer have access to in my Authenticator App. (For some reason the only 2FA I still have setup is related to my Microsoft danielaschenatto@Stuff .com account. But all other accounts are no longer associated and showing in my app. The passwords are all still there though.) What kind of work around can I do? Do I need to go to each provider and contact their support saying I no longer have access to the 2 factor authentication? Or can there be a way to reimport those from the cloud? Thanks

You can restore from backup (assuming there was one) but make sure no accounts have been added to the newly install app. Then sign on with recovery account to do the restore.

You can recover your account credentials from your cloud account, but you must first make sure that the account you're recovering doesn't exist in the Microsoft Authenticator app. For example, if you're recovering your personal Microsoft account, you must make sure you don't have a personal Microsoft account already set up in the authenticator app. This check is important so we can be sure we're not overwriting or erasing an existing account by mistake.
