Link to specific version of a document in SharePoint

With our documents we often need to refer to a certain revision of a document in SharePoint.

Using a document history - is of course possible, yet not quite convenient. So here is the question:

  • Is there a way to retrieve a direct link to a certain version (major or minor) of a document in SharePoint?

Hi s1s0,

I go through the post carefully, in SharePoint online, you may get direct link to a specific version of document by right click the version>Copy link, as you can see from screenshot below:
