In Microsoft Lists : change date format from the default mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy

Dears,

In Microsoft Lists i need to change date format from the default mm/dd/yyyy to accept user data entry in dd/mm/yyyy format . also we facing issue when need to enter date in future for example date after 10 years . is there an option to click on years then fast go to future year then select day & month.

Hi Awadh,

The input date format is related with the SharePoint's region settings.

For instance, this Microsoft List you are working on is stored in a specific SharePoint site. Then go to that site and click on site settings > Regional Settings > Change the region to the country which use dd/mm/yyyy for time format. E.g United Kingdom.

So it will allow you to input in dd/mm/yyyy format

However, unfortunately, there is no method to change the year directly in the date picker.
