Dark mode not showing up in Office android. Please help!

Hi there, on my phone. dark mode is no where to be seen on my office app. This means I can't use Word or similar apps in dark mode. This is a huge problem, any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi, just reading this thread and I still have the exact same issue, I have two Android devices running android 12 my Google pixel 3xl phone has dark mode, the app displays dark mode automatically and there is an option in settings.

    My Samsung Galaxy tab s7 still does not have the option nor does it start automatically both devices are running 1.01 (16.0.14827.20124) my Galaxy tab s7 also doesn't show the action prompts heading. suggest screenshot actions subheading. Both uninstalled and reinstalled through Google play store yesterday through same account and both have identical accounts logged into the app.

    Yes I think Dark mode is a myth.

    It was released 2 years ago, and yet somehow its still in beta and my devices don't have it. Its confusing to me that Microsoft doesn't place more priority on such a necessary feature that would be an otherwise deal breaker for most people, me included.

    It's a shame as I was hoping to do work through Word on my tablet.

    I guess I'll just have to stick to Docs on Google Drive, at least they have a Dark mode.

    It's strange as my phone has it, both phone and tablet running android 12 and other options are missing too but it's the same build version. I suspect it's some tablet optimization detection that alters the app as I transferred an apk from my phone with dark mode and it was the same no dark mode and slightly different ui other missing features. I'm joining the beta now on my tablet hopefully that fixes it

    • I have never seen Dark mode on any of my Android devices. As far as I know it does not exist.
    • Yes. I have also Uninstalled and reinstalled Office for Android.
    • Yes. Dark mode is not there. See earlier screenshots
    • Yes I have

    My Microsoft Word app version is listed as 1.0.1

    My Microsoft Office app version is listed as 1.0.1

    I think you have misread my question. The issue is not that I can't find dark mode. The issue is that Dark Mode is not on my app. Please see attachments bellow:
