I got the new Windows 11 update and when I open and use excel, which I need to do a lot, the screen starts flickering and scrolling/ cascading top to bottom. This issue continues to the entire computer after I have closed Excel and I have to restart my computer to get rid of the issue. I have all the recent updates on Windows and on Office Suite 2016.

Windows :

Edition Windows 11 Home

Version 21H2

Installed on ‎11/‎3/‎2021

OS build 22000.318

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.318.0

Excel:

Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2110 Build 16.0.14527.20270) 64-bit

Any advice?

    Jen,

Thank you for your advised. I tried that and it came back saying I didn't have authority, and yes I have admin rights it's my personal computer. However, when I first looked for the app it showed 2 different options so I figured I would try the 2nd one and both were gone just the Office start was there, so I reinstalled office and thought it was fixed. Sadly, no it is not, it is still jumping and causing all the screens on my computer to shiver/ wiggle left and right and on Excel it has this roll from top to bottom once it does that one time that is what has the domino effect on all the other screens. Any other ideas? Anybody?

Side note: I have 2 accounts on my Office I cannot get rid of. One is my college, which is no longer active, and the other is my daughter's work she put on to access her work email and such from home when her computer was down. I cannot get them out/off my office.

    Hi VivianWeaver!

I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

Please try performing an Online Repair and see if it fixes the issue.

Follow these steps: Right-click the Windows Start button.

Select "Apps and Features" on the pop-up menu.

Find and click your Microsoft Office 365 application in the list.

Select Modify, then "Online Repair" and follow the onscreen instructions.

Once the fix is applied, restart your computer and re-try opening your excel workbook to check if the problem has been resolved.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'd be glad to assist you further.

    Best Regards!

    Jen :)
