Download Office 2019 ISO

I would like to download the Office 2019 Professional ISO file. I received my product key, but want to save the ISO on a thumb drive in case I need to rebuild my laptop.

Anyone know where I can get the ISO?

Thank you,

David

David, you do not need an ISO in case you need to rebuild your laptop. You can reinstall Office at any time in the future from your Office Account at: https://account.microsoft.com/services  Sign in with the same Microsoft Account that you used to purchase Office 2019 from the Microsoft Store Or used to setup Office with a Product Key purchased from a third party vendor, although purchasing Office Professional from anyone other than Microsoft is dodgy. Sign in here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

You are being appropriately paranoid. Good for you.

    .

People are learning the hard way that they can no longer download installation files for Office 2010 and earlier. The same will happen to 2019 in the not so distant future.

    .

What you are looking for is the "Offline Installer" file

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-the-office-offline-installer-f0a85fe7-118f-41cb-a791-d59cef96ad1c

    .

PS Keep track of the 2019 "end of life", that is Oct 24, 2025. Make sure to download a new offline installer file at the start of Oct 2025 so that you have most if not all of the applicable updates already in the installer file.

Rohn, you are probably right, but it should be noted that Office 2010 never had an Office Account and was not associated with a Microsoft Account. The download link was added separately a long time after Office 2010 was first introduced on disc. I should add, that when Office 2013 was introduced, and for quite a long time later, there was at the Office Account a link to download Office as a 'Backup'. There was an offline installer, and that is still at the Office Account for both Office 2013 and 2019.

PS: The Office 2010 install link meant that users that purchased Office 2010 on disc could download the online version.

Rohn, there is no problem transferring Office 2019. There is no need for the Product Key. The problem is when you have multiple installations of Office with same Microsoft Account. It also means you cannot change the Product Key (licence) with the option at the Office Account at>File>Account>Change Licence.

PS: like here: Change your Office product key (microsoft.com)

You can still get the last 5 digits for Office 2019 using Command Prompt. But this is no good to users with several Offices on one Microsoft Account!
