    Hello, Sazzad

Sorry for all the trouble it has caused. You can try repair Office see if it make any changes.: Repair an Office application.

Open Excel and press Alt + F11. Click Tools > Reference. Do you find any missing reference in there? If so, try unchecking the checkbox next to the missing reference.

For more information about this error you can check the official article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/language/reference/user-interface-help/can-t-find-project-or-library

Excel 2016 x64 “can’t find project or library”

I understand sometimes the initial suggestion may not resolve the problem; however, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. If the issue persists, please provide us with the following information:

Office version: Open any Office app, click File > Account, look for the information under Product information.

Windows version and build: press Windows key + R > type winver > OK

Can you confirm if this issue happens with a specific VBA workbook?

    Regards,

    Igor

Okay, from my point of view, the problem is not inside the file.

Did you tried to repair your Office as Igor suggested (in the first reply)?

    Andreas.

The file is fine, no issues. I guess this might be an issue to one of your AddIns.

    Please follow these steps:

    Close Excel
Press and hold the CTRL key
    Open Excel
Wait for a message to appear and ask for "Safe Mode"
    Release the CTRL key
    Click Yes
    After Excel opens
Click File\Open and select your file
Press and hold the SHIFT key
    Click Open
Wait for your file to open
    Release the SHIFT key
    Test the behavior

    What happens?

    Andreas.

    Hello, Igor

Thanks for your response. I am using Office 365 ProPlus. I tried mentioned step but "Reference" not working for corrupted file. it works for other file. It happened previously with a file contains VBA and Power Query, and I was unable to recover that. Again, I'm facing similar problem for another file contains VBA and Power Query.

    Thanks,

    Sazzad
