Hello MS team,

I have added a news-object onto a modern SharePoint page; the number of views under each news post will disappear when I filter onto a Managed property (Title).

It worked fine from the beginning; I started using SharePoint in 2020. When I recreate the news-object onto my test SharePoint, I'm having the same issue.

The configuration is like;

Thank you very much for the cooperation.

Hi Bart,

Thanks for posting in the community.

According to your settings, I have tested on my side, I can reproduce the same situation. Even you have enabled the option “Show numbers of view”, it doesn’t appear under the news post.

Based on the situation, please contact your admin/IT department to create a support ticket about the issue via Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Support> New service request. That support team there will have the correct channel to help you investigate more and find what exactly reason has caused this issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience that happened to you.

Regards,

George

    Hello Cliff,

it's seems the issue appears when I make use of the Filter property of the News object.

I created a new page; on that page I have added a News object with the above configuration with the exception of making use of the Filter; I left it blank.

This resulted that the number of views appeared on the published page.

let me know if you need anything else from me to take a closer look at the problem. Thank you.

    Have a nice day.

    Dear Bart,

I do a test in our environment and I can't reproduce such an issue.

Could you clear the browser cache, re-add the web part and then do a test again to see the result?

If you create a new site page, add the web part and do a test, what's the outcome?

    Best Regards,

    Cliff
