Hello. I have two different gmail accounts and I subscribe to Microsoft365 with one of them. I want to be able to use Microsoft 365 from both of them because I have been using both accounts for a long time and my filing is complicated. How can I set this up please?

Thanks, Ron. I find it a bit confusing because sometimes, on my tablet, I get access to all my files in OneNote for example, both email addresses and sometimes I don't. On my laptop I can always access both accounts, it is just a bit frustrating to be able to have all the functionality of Office with one set of files and not the other.

Hi Dawn, You can only have one Microsoft Account (email address) associated with Office, which cannot be changed. It is a security provision. In effect when you first install/setup Office Microsoft combines the Product Key (if you used one) with the Microsoft Account used to setup Office to create an Office Account, that is, Services & Subscriptions From where you can reinstall Office without using a Product Key. Note: If you purchased Office directly from the Microsoft Store (not too long ago) you will not have received a Product Key. Microsoft creates an Office Account tied to the Microsoft Account used to purchase Office.

    Hello,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and appreciate your time taken for sharing detailed information. I understand that Two different gmail accounts with one subscription to Microsoft365. I could share with you some of my thoughts on this issue.

I would like to ask if you subscribe to Microsoft 365 through Google or directly subscribe to Microsoft 365 directly at Microsoft. If it is Microsoft 365 with an official Microsoft subscription, the two accounts cannot share the same subscription. But if you subscribe to Microsoft 365 Home Edition, you could share your Microsoft 365 to another Gmail account, and Microsoft 365 Personal Edition can't do that.

Feel free to post back if you have any additional questions.

    Best Regard,

Oh I see. Thanks for that. I subscribe through Google. I will have to check which edition it is. If it is the one that does not allow sharing I could cancel that subscription and take out one that does I guess. Do you think that would cause me any problems with my files and all?
