Is there any way to set the default page size in Word for iPadOS?

Title pretty much says it all. When I create a new document in Word, it’s always letter size. I live in a part of the world that doesn’t use letter-size paper, however, and it seems silly to have to change it to A4 with every single document. Is it possible to set A4 as the default? I haven’t been able to find any way to do this. If there isn’t a way, it really needs to be added. Most of the world uses A4 rather than letter.

    Hi there,

From your post, I understand your requirement and I tried finding a way but seems like there’s no setting/method to change the default page size in Word for iOS. Word on mobile devices has limited functions as compared to full version on Windows and mac and I believe this one of the limitations on mobile device.

If it is suitable for you, as a workaround, create a custom page size in Word for Mac or Windows, upload the document to OneDrive and then access the document through your iOS device.

Besides, I understand and agree it would be great if there was a way to achieve this in Word for iOS and Android easily, in this regard, in this regard please consider giving your feedback in Word feedback portal. This is the quickest route to get your feedback to the developers’ ears.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

    With sincerest regards,

    Neha
