Columns (Word Online)

Hi,

I am on word and trying to add columns. It says to go to layout, which I do, but I do not see the column option. Can anyone help me with trying to locate it?

    If you are in the Online (browser) version of Word, it does not have access to Newspaper style columns under the Layout tab.

    You can, though, insert a table with the requisite number of columns under the Insert tab.

    Note: if you want a short section of columns in the middle of the document you have to insert section breaks before/after the area you want the columns. Then apply the columns feature.

    Personally, I like to turn on the "Line Between" feature.

    Are you referring to newspaper columns or table columns?

    From your description, it seems that you want to add columns to the table in Word for Mac.

    If my understanding is correct, please refer to the following information:
