why do my f1 f2 ...f12 only work when i am holding down fn? Can you please help me fix it?

None of my f keys work and i would like help to make it where i can change it to where i can use them without having to use fn while i use them

To enable default function keys operation, press left shift+fn key to switch to function lock.
Else you could set it as a default in BIOS.
Hope that works for you.
If that is not the case, please kindly attach a screen-shot of the issue so we could work towards resolving it.
