This has happened to me again with your last update. Only seems to be a problem on one computer. I have never turned off the color. Please provide the correct method to turn the color back on. Not sure what you are doing that keeps causing these problems but would appreciate if you fully test your updates before pushing them out and causing us problems

There isn't an option to turn greyscale off

after 3 HP printers in 4 years and problems aglore, I purchased a Canon printer and have had NO problems. Thanks anyway. I had gone to HP help, their manuals, etc and nothing worked. Hence, a new printer of a different brand.

    Hi Ruth,

I would suggest you refer to the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

    1. Click Print,
    2. Select Printer properties,
    3. Select the Paper/Quality tab,
    4. Click Advanced,
    5. Select Print Grayscale Off (This option is totally missing in the drop-down list. It disappeared recently from the menu after we had checked black instead of color.. When we wanted to change back to color the option was gone.)
    6. Click Apply then OK.
    7. Check to see whether or not the problem has been resolved.

Also, try following the procedure on this link to enable color printing on your printer. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/print-background-color-or-image-9aa93bd0-4279-4f0b-9432-152f8549ef15

If you keep experiencing the same issue after following the procedure above, kindly remove the printer device from windows settings and add again use this article as referencing. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-a-printer-or-scanner-in-windows-14d9a442-0bcb-e11c-7a6c-63f00efae79f

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let me know how it goes.

    Thank you!
    Oloduku

You may have to update the printer driver for your printer.
