This site has exceeded its maximum file storage limit. To free up space, delete files you don't need and empty the recycle bin.

How can I fix this above error, I am not an admin, so I will not be able to increase storage apart from that why is so tedious process to delete files and folder from OneDrive.

There is one or the other error always while deleting the files from OneDrive

This was other error which I was facing while deleting the files

Request was cancelled by event received. If attempting to delete a non-empty folder, it's possible that it's on hold.

    Dear Мане Рохан Сампат,

Good day! Thanks for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, I would like to reconfirm if you have tried to empty the OneDrive recycle bin and the Second-stage recycle bin (at the bottom of Recycle bin page). If not, please go to OneDrive for Web (go to www.office.com and click the OneDrive icon), then empty recycle bin.

If you have already emptied the OneDrive recycle bin while the error message still pops on when you delete OneDrive files, you need to contact your admin/IT department. They have the related permission to help you to increase your OneDrive storage and resolve this situation.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator
