Another way is that put the value in a cell and then select the required range where first cell has to be where you put the value.

CTRL+D to fill down to selected range

Hi Laurel. I am an Excel user like you.

I do this regularly when I want the same data in multiple cells. Select all of the cells you want to enter the data in. Type the data in--it will show in the first cell selected. Then use CTRL+Enter and Excel will enter that data in all of the selected cells.

First: You don't want to do that
Second: To do that, select the column, type the value, (will go in one cell)

              press Ctrl + Enter

Hi LaurelS., I am Juliet and It's my pleasure to help you today.

How are you? I hope you are doing good.

I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you :)

    1. First, select the Cell. (for example, it is on cell D5.)
    2. Now left-click the mouse and drag down the plus sign.
    3. After that, release the mouse clicking.
    4. Finally, we can see that the column is filled with the same value.

I hope it helps! Let me know the results.
