Hello Roberto,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Office Community and thanks for providing us an opportunity to assist you.

Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn’t provide any update for co-authoring limitations, so the current status remains as recommended maximum number of concurrent editors is 10.

Regarding about the numbers of users you can share a file, though there is no article or any limitation about numbers of users we can share. We guess, there is no restriction about number of users to share.

Regards,
Igor

    Hello Roberto,

Thank you for coming back to us.

As I mentioned in my previous post Microsoft didn’t provide the information about users limits in co-authoring recently so our research is related to this information:

We tried to recreate a test on our side, and we could connect more than 10 uses to one workbook in co-authoring. But it is recommended to keep the number of concurrent co-authors in one workbook less than 10 due to user experience degradation.

    Best Regards,

    Igor

Hi thank you for your reply, maybe this is a related question that was made around 6 years ago.

Just to to confirm. In a scenario multiples users with the need to edit the same shared file in excel, (edit some tables and some numbers simple stuff) the limit to do it is 10 people at the same time editing? Did I understand well?

Thank you so much and I hope this question can be a reference for futures questions

in my case I use 365 version.
