I am trying to move away from using Google products and the one thing I cannot seem to find a good replacement for is Google's calendars where I can see and manage multiple domain calendars. I have two email domains for my business (at a small hoster who uses Titan mail as their email server), Gmail for home.
For calendaring, I need to initiate and manage calendar events from one of my branded email domains from both iphone and desktop with real time syncing. I would like to view Gmail calendar in the same app to avoice conflicts between personal and professional lives. Prefer the email and calendar app work in sync so I can accept events from incoming emails.
- Which calendar app would be best to set this up in? and where are the exact instructions for doing so?
Confused by choices: Outlook desktop software calendar v. outlook.com, MS 365 Calendar v. something else on the iphone? I do not wish to use an outlook.com email address unless this is the key to tie-ing things together. If you can't tell already I have too many emails to manage. Please give links to how to setup if possible.
- How exactly do I get a single app on my phone to sync calendars with desktop or online version?
- Why is this so hard? I am almost at the point of resigning myself to using Google for calendaring because no one is making it easy.
