Per your description, you want to install Office on Ubuntu.
Currently, we’re afraid that Linux operating system may not supported for Office 365 products.
Generally, we can install Microsoft 365 Apps in Android, iOS, Windows OS: Windows 10 SAC, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2016.
MacOS: One of the three most recent versions of macOS. When a new version of macOS is released, the macOS requirement becomes one of the then-current three most recent versions: the new version of macOS and the previous two versions.
However, we may not support to install Office in Linux. For more details, you can refer to this article: System requirements for Microsoft 365 and Office.
