The person you replied to is having a problem with just one document. From your very brief description, it seems you are having trouble printing all documents.
You told us what version of Mac OS you have, but not which version of Office you are using. I'm going to recommend that you check for updates before proceeding and install them. Just the same, it is highly unlikely that the problem is Microsoft Office.

Next, reset your printing system:
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners.
Press and hold the Control key as you click in the list at the left, then choose “Reset printing system” from the menu that appears.
After you reset the printing system, the list of printers in Printers & Scanners preferences is empty.
This allowed others to both Print successfully and save files as PDFs successfully.
