Hi,

OK, I understand the situation now. I have one more question: is this problem recent? If yes, you can try to roll back your Office to the previous version.

Your continued patience and cooperation are highly appreciated. To troubleshoot our issue further, let's perform the following steps:

  1. Manually uninstall Office and then reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 on your PC. Disclaimer: To avoid any data loss, please back up all important files beforehand.
  2. Create a local user or administrator account in Windows. Then check if the problem still exists in the newly created account.

Please let me know if it works.

Have a nice day!

    Hi,

Thanks for your information. We can try to create a new Excel to see if this problem also occurs in the newly created Excel. If the newly created Excel also has problems, it may be a problem with the system or Office components. If there is no problem with the new one, it may be that the current excel sheet is too large and your system cannot be loaded, so Excel will be forced to close.

Thank you for your time and effort working on this issue.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in this community. I understand that you have encountered the problem that excel started to force close when you copy paste pivot chart.

The crash of excel may be caused by many reasons. We can first try the following solutions to rule out some possible reasons.

    1. Open Excel in safe mode on your PC. press the Windows logo key and the R key on your keyboard. In the Run box, type one of the command: Type excel /safe, and click OK. In safe mode, we can rule out problems caused by some plug-ins or incorrect extensions.
    2. Disable third-party add-ins File > Options > Add-ins > COM-Add-ins Uncheck all non-Microsoft add- ins.
    3. Disable or temporarily uninstall third-party antivirus software Antivirus software can also sometimes interfere with the operation of programs.
    4. Disable hardware graphics acceleration Open Excel. Click the File tab and select Options. Choose Advanced. Scroll to the Display section and check the box to the left of Disable hardware graphics acceleration. Click the OK button.

In addition, there is a same problem here, which seems to have occurred recently. You can also try to use the Online version to see if excel can run normally.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation in working closely with me on this issue.

We look forward to your response and clues.

Hope you are keeping safe and well.

    Best Regards
