I created an org chart using SmartArt in powerpoint. Upon revisiting file to update, SmartArt option is no longer available. Entire chart is now in individual objects.

Microsoft Office 365. Created powerpoint organization chart using the SmartArt feature. Typically when you need to revise same file, the SmartArt options button appears. Chart is no longer in SmartArt style. I saved as pptx. Cannot make changes to org chart using SmartArt.

    Dear MaureenXP,

    Thanks for your reply.

May I confirm if you create this chart with Insert>SmartArt, or with other add-ins or method?

Also, may I confirm if you are opening this PowerPoint desktop application or PowerPoint for web?

    Look forward to your reply.

    Sincerely,

SmartArt objects have an option to convert them to shapes; is there any chance that you/someone else might have clicked that?
