    Hello JohanMarais3,

Welcome to the Microsoft community and enjoy the time you've spent sharing detailed information. I understand that your problem is that you cannot insert pictures into PowerPoint for Android, it says "Insert Image" but nothing happens. If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the answer. I am pleased to offer you assistance on this issue.

When did this happen? Did you update PowerPoint or your phone system before this happened?

It is recommended that you recreate a PowerPoint file and then insert the image to test if the problem persists.

You can also try inserting other images to test if the images are displayed properly.

Also, is there any other error message other than showing "Insert Image"? If so, please share the screenshot of the error message with us.

You can also uninstall and reinstall the PowerPoint application to check if the problem persists.

We need to go through a series of steps to find the true cause of the problem. If the steps above don't solve your problem, or we didn't understand your question correctly, please let me know and I will continue to help you with the problem.

    Sincere greetings
