Office 365 Buis v2207 build 15427.20210

I have an access db located on the local drive, not OneDrive, split into front/ back end This was designed many years ago, I now only need it sometimes The front end when you add a record produces memory errors, but it functions, has been that way for some time. (no response when I posted a Q on this)

But now the Front end when accessing anything from the its menu form, options give the error;

"Your network access was interrupted, to continue close the DB then open it again"

I cannot get passed this error

(I wouldnt mind getting rid of the Front/back end setup)

There is no network involved in this DB its all on the local drive

T/Y

    What about the Menu Form? Do you have any thing like Start-up, Commands that runs a Macro/VBA code or any connection to a unknown link?

    By the way, what is the actual error message. What Error Number and Error Description?

    There are 20 tables, none throw any error

    Did you check all the linked tables that are connected to the back-end database?

    Open each table one by one to see which table will throw the error.

    The memory msg I posted a Q on some considerable time ago and I cannot locate that post in my Profile search

    It didn't impact on being able to add an entry via my dashboard, and as I said my work has changed so I was only using the DB about once a month to add 1 0r 2 entries

    Currently the mdb front /back ends are located in \My Documents\ on an internal E:\ drive - not OneDrive

    Starting the Front end using Shift opens a 'Home' window with table listing on the left (as below) Previously opening the Front end showed my dashboard form.

    Opening the backend shows a table list to the left, I am able to open my 'primary' table and add new data

    What were the "memory error" messages? Where are the front and back end files? are they .mdb (older) or .accdb files? Do you see the Tables if you open the backend directly? Try holding down the SHIFT key while opening the frontend (to bypass any startup code).
