    Hi Jeremy Tapay

    Welcome to Microsoft Community

According to the category Microsoft 365 and Office you posted, we can tell that your problem is "Error scanning sending email with Kyocera Printer Scanner" Feel free to correct me if my understanding is wrong. I can understand that it is frustrated at times that something goes wrong, and the fact that it has not been resolved is troubling.

We can understand your mood. After observation and research, the current mail configuration information in Kyocera Printer is incorrect. Please try the following configuration

    • SMTP server name smtp-mail.outlook.com
    • SMTP port 587
    • SMTP encryption method STARTTLS

At the same time, try to view the relevant POP3/IMAP setting instructions provided by Microsoft, click here

The current problem is more related to the settings of your Kyocera Printer Scanner. In addition, we need to confirm whether the email account you configured on the printer belongs to a personal or business or school account

Due to Kyocera and Microsoft do not belong to the same company. We also recommend that you contact the official support for the printer

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

This is a feature of your printer software, it would be unusual to use SMTP settings as you have shown for this.

You have installed full feature software from that printer maker, and followed the setup prompts?
