Can MS Word automatically set up large number in sets of three digits on either side of the decimal, e.g. 1[space]234,567[space]8 (per the South African National Standard)?

As far as I am aware there is no way of doing that automatically. However, it would be possible to create a macro that would modify a selected range of numbers so that every three sets of digits would be separated by a space.
