"Ink to Text" not available using One Note on iPad or Macbook Air.

I have been attempting to convert my handwritten notes using the ink-to-text option, as mentioned in other posts on this page, but the option is simply unavailable. After doing research, I've found that for some reason, even with apple scribble, it doesn't work with iPad. However, I was under the belief that it would work on my mac book.

Is that not the case? Any clarity someone could provide me on this issue would be much appreciated.

If my understanding of your requirement is correct, I am sorry to convey that Ink to text feature is not available in the OneNote devices on the iOS or Mac devices, where currently this feature is available in the OneNote app on Windows device.
