I just got a new iPhone 13 Pro with 1TB of storage and want to download/Sync all of my One Drive files to the iphone. ItI have tried finding a resolution for days with no luck. At first, it successfully downloaded about 30,000 files of about 36,000. This took several days. Not unussual. Then it just stopped and a red X appeared on the folder. Nothing I did would get it to work again.I rebooted the phone several times and nothing. After about a day I signed out and signed back in. Of course, it started from the beginning again....but it immediately began downloading/syncing files. But it again staopped. A couple of times it would start and download 3-400 files then it X's out again. Last night I deleted the ap & then reinstalled it. It downloaded about 6000 files then stopped and hasn't worked since. Today I cleared the cache which did not help. I cannot think of anything else to try. Any ideas??!!

I did submit comments asking for help through the ios ap’s “Ask for Help” in the “Help and Feedback” section. I did this 10 days ago when i first had problems and have not had a response. I suspect i will not get additional help from anyone. Very frustrating. Typical

I have an old iPhone XS with softweare v15.1.

I installed One Drive & signed in. I selected the same folder to download which has just over 36,000 files. It immediately bagan to download files. It worked well through Saturday...stopping occasionally for extended periods but then picking backup.

By early morning Sunday (yesterday) it was down to about 50000 files remaining to download but the disconnects became more frequesnt during the day and rarely would connect.

As of now, there are about 1500 files remaining to download but it hasn't moved at all this morning. It's now 11:30a

    UPDATE 6pm

Just received an ios One Drive app update. No change on either my iPhone 13 Pro or the test XS.

Does this work for anybody or is it just me???

First, thank you, Wagas, for replying. I really appreciate it.

I have done all that you have suggested. My phone is up to dfate. The app has been reinstalled twice but I have just deleted it and reinstalled it again. Over the past week I have gone between my office and home wifi environments. It has partially synced at both locations sporadically, not completely. It has gone for up to 18 hours doing nothing and then suddenly will begin syncing briefly…then stop.

    I have over 36,000 files

Before I deleted the app it was at 28,328 files remaining

I deleted the app. Rebooted my phone and reinstalled ONe Drive. As soon as I opened the app I could see all of my one Drive folders and files.

I then selected only one of the folders...."Documents" that has most of my folders & files, for Offline.

The app immediately began syncing....but when it started it indicated there were ~ 24,000 files remaining. After 30 seconds that number jumped to ~ 36,300 and kept syncing.

After about 10 minutes it stopped syncing, got the red X. It stopped at 34,440 files remaining.

    /////////////////////////////////

UPDATE.....I swiped down one the appand it begain syncing again. I'll see how long it syncs again.

UPDATE 2: Stopped again at 34,077 files remaining. Now it will not restart by swiping, force closing and reopening or rebooting the phone.

    Dear JR DiAndrea,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

First, update iOS on your device. Then, make sure you've installed any available updates to the app and ensure you install any available updates to the app.

If possible, could you please try to remove OneDrive app and then Reinstall the OneDrive app from the App Store to check if there is any difference.

Also, please make sure that OneDrive is kept up-to-OneDrive date by enabling it in your device's SettingsGeneralBackground App Refresh.

Most issues will be fix after changing another internet connection. Please try to change your internet environment and then, check if OneDrive syncing again.

If the issue still persists, could you please provide the version of OneDrive app and iPhone 13 OS version

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
