I am not able to cancel the in progress upload at One drive App

Hi All,

I needs help to cancel the In progress upload at One Drive app. I am not able to find any solution to resolve this issue from last one month. I can able to pause the upload but not able to cancel the upload.

    Let us try this.

    Pause the sync, and relocate the folders from their present location.

    If it refuses to be moved, then just unlink once more and move the file. This will stop the sync.

    Hi Fuad Laguda,

    Desktop, Documents and Pictures are not part of this sync. I want to cancel the current sync process. I have followed the step of link that you shared https://support.office.com/article/f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0 . I unlink the PC then unlink the account and when login again to OneDrive then previous sync process started automatically. I am not able to stop it.

    It is because you have started the sync, I need to confirm do you still want these files to be synced and I do hope the Desktop, Documents and Pictures are not part of this sync. Because the next thing will be to unlink the One Drive, if your Desktop, Documents and Pictures are part of the sync, they will no longer appear on your system, but will be on the cloud only, until you link again.

    Please confirm for me

    Hello Fuad Laguda,

    Thank you for reply. I have already try both these option but not able to cancel the upload.

    1. On the top toolbar, select  OneDrive upload iconUploading to show the Progress of each file. To cancel the entire upload, select OneDrive upload cancel icon at the top of the list.  OneDrive upload cancel icon  is not appearing to me to cancel the file individually.

    2. When I am trying to cancel the upload option using folder option as explained at https://support.office.com/article/98b8b011-8b94-419b-aa95-a14ff2415e85 . It throws error. For reference , here are screen shots.
