One Drive App on Windows Server 2012 R2

Hello everybody

I'd like to sync a shared site of my share point with my Server 2012 R2. When I'm going to install the OneDrive App, the program always says "OneDrive can not installed", u need a version of Windows 10 or Windows 11. But the system requieries says the OneDrive App supports Windows Server 2012 R2.

What can I do to sync my files in the sharepoint with my Server?

    Good day! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

    Based on your description, it seems that you can't install OneDrive app in Windows Server 2012.  As you mentioned, according to OneDrive system requirements, Windows Server 2012 (including R2) is one of the supported OS on which OneDrive sync client can be installed via the  the support article

    For the error message you got, we did a test on our end ,  and I experienced the same error when installing production version of OneDrive 22.002.0103.0004 on Windows server 2012. So, I tried installing Deferred version and it was successful.

    Please try installing version 21.230.1107.0004 of Deferred ring and you should be able to install OneDrive sync app.

    Hi Stacey

    I have an another Problem now. The Version of One Drive works with Server 2012 R2. So far, so good. But this isn't the right Version of One Drive. I need One Drive for Business, because my customer has Office 365 Business and i want to sync more Files as Documents, Pictures and Desctop.
