Image reverses or becomes very large when resizing

When I try to resize images in Microsoft Word for Mac, it flips the image and/or makes the image giant taking up the size of the page it's on.  It's very hard to make the images smaller - the only way seems to be typing in a specific height/width in the size boxes. My Mac and my Word app are both up to date and it is only happening on Word.

It's with all documents. I reinstalled the Word app and it fixed it for the most part, but it still happens occasionally, but not as bad as it was though. Thanks for your help.

Just to confirm, have you been able to try using an external or wireless mouse to know if the flipping stops.

    Best Regards,

    Amaka

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us today. I’m Kevin and I’m happy to to help you out with your question today.

Does it happen with all documents or just a specific one? If it’s all documents, it sounds like an installation issue with Word. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling Word to see if that resolves the issue.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please reach back out and I will be more than happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Kevin
