    Hi Waqas Muhammad,

I guess the new update to Word for Mac 16.63.1 changed so much the editing process that we are finding it challenging. I also cannot select the text just by selecting the first letter and go forward to select the rest. I need to click shift. Is there a tutorial to understand how the new version works. I find it also annoying the new insert a comment system and my productivity is slowing down. The problem, I guess, is the new update with no tutorial .

    thanks!

    Hi AnnaClb,

Thanks for your valuable feedback and sharing updates with us and I really appreciate your effort and your precious time doing.

And I appreciate your kind words.

Since you mentioned this problem is happened to new update to Word version 16.63on your Mac OS, then as a workaround you may revert back to previous version 16.62. You can go to the Applications folder In Finder and drag Microsoft Word .app to the trash. Then Restart your Mac Download this Install package Word and use it to reinstall Microsoft Word (the version 16.62). Then, restart your Mac and test.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

2.Have you ever installed any add-ins for Word? If so, please disable them and then check the outcomes.

4.Another suggestion is to remove the Office folders from Containers folder in Library with following steps.

b: In Finder, press COMMAND +Shift+g.

    c: Enter**~/Library** and click Go
