Copy merged rows from Excel to Word table

I have to copy some rows of data to a Word table. The data is in Excel and in the format that is needed in Word.

I had merged the cells in Excel corresponding to the formatting needed in the Word formatting above.

How can I copy the rows of data from Excel over to the Word table in the above format?

Dear Sajit,

Good day! Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to copy Excel merged cells into Word with the same format.

You can try to paste with the option to "Keep Source Formatting" like below:

If my understanding is wrong, please feel free to post back.

    Thanks Jazlyn, It works.

I think I was trying to copy to a Word table that had merged cells but I had not made all of the merges in the excel to match for the copy to fit.
