Hi

Please can you advise how to install the Harvard referencing style into Microsoft Word 365?

I used to have it but now only have APA and MLA.

Many thanks,

Hannah

    Hi Dave

Thanks for your help - it is not showing as an option in the drop down.

I am not sure why it has disappeared, it was there a few months ago.

    Many thanks,

    Hannah

    Hi Dave

Unfortunately that hasn't worked, I still have the same two style options of APA and MLA.

Is there anything else I can try?

    Kind regards

    Hannah

    Hi Hannah

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open the document in Word, then on the References ribbon at the top, do you not see Harvard Anglia as an option as shown below?

If not, please provide a screenshot of your Word window showing the available reference styles.

    Hi Hannah,

The only other thing I can suggest is to completely re-install Office, to see if that resolves the missing reference styles.

Use this tool from Microsoft to remove all remnants of the Office Installation:

    https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC

Restart (not shut down) your PC

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and re-install Office from there

    Hi Hannah

Thank you for that screenshot, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation.

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Apps, then scroll down to find Microsoft Office

Select that and choose Modify - Online Repair

    That is a comprehensive fix

That should fix any issues with your Office Installation.
