F2 to edit cell in Excel

Hi,

In Excel I like to use F2 to edit the cell that I want to work on. Well, I used to like to do it this way. Now when I push F2 I get something to do with the volume.

I have read that you can push Fn + Esc + F2 and that will work for what I want. I am wondering if there is a more permanent way of turning it back on, as 3 keys each time is annoying and not as efficient.

Any assistance greatly appreciated!!

Based on this thread, it would appear to be a glaring omission in the SP8 setup.

    Hi Aimee,

Thanks for posting the query over here and we are happy to help you regarding the Excel shortcut.

The shortcuts for function key will vary depending upon the type of Laptop. If its a regular keyboard, you will be still able to use 'F2' directly. As you are using a Laptop, this requires a combination of Function key.

One option would be using an extended Keyboard will resolve your need.
