Printing front and back A5 slides on A4 paper

Hey there all you that know how to actually use a printer,

So printing and formatting is one area I'm really terrible at. Right now I'm slowly putting together a planner for me to print and bring some kind of order. I am using powerpoint to create the planner and I'm wondering what will be the best way to export the file in order to make printing a little bit less complicated.

Because the planner will used in a binder, I so far realized that I will need to leave space for binder holes on the left side of even pages and on the right side of odd pages. But how do I get the odd pages to align correctly with the even pages once I get to printing? Another thing is, I will be using A4 paper while the planners will be either A5 or A6, so I will be printing 2 pages on 1 paper, which just makes it a bit more complex I guess.

I hope there is someone out there that can understand what I'm on about because I'm not the best at explaining things.

Thanks in Advance for any insight

James

I'm not sure PPT is up to the task, mostly because of the different left/right margin problem. You might try saving the finished document as PDF, opening that in Adobe Reader and choosing Booklet in the print dialog.

    Hello James,

I’m Florentino one of the Independent Advisor and I’d be happy to help you out with your question.

The Settings portion within the Print menu provides option to scale your document to your preferred size. Just want to confirm what version of Office do you have on the device? Are you using a Windows or a MAC device?

In the meantime, we'd recommend using the following settings when you attempt to print the document:

    Under Settings, select Landscape Orientation.
Select A4 as the paper size.
On the option that allows you to modify the number of pages per sheet, select 2 Pages per Sheet.
Under the same menu, hover to the Scale to Paper Size option and select A5.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I’ll be glad to assist you further.
