Customize print area on a template

I’ve created a bill of lading template in Excel. Is there any way to print only the rows that have a value entered into the “total units” column? As of now, I have to delete the rows of every item not being shipped on an order before I can print the BOL.

    Hi

Turn the range of cells that looks like a table into an Excel Table. Select the range, then on the Insert Tab of the Ribbon click the Table button. While the range is selected, type a name for the range into the Name box.

Now you can filter based on any criteria you like

Once you've turned on the filter, use File > Print and choose Print What? Selection

Give each range of cells that you turn into a table a unique name. You can choose the one you want to print from the name box. Each table can be filtered, but you should be aware that filtering one table might affect an adjacent table, so clear your filter after each use.

Thank you for replying Stacey! What I am trying to figure out is if there are formulas I can put into a section of the spreadsheet to automatically determine which rows print based upon whether I have input a value for a specific cell in each row.

The top section of the worksheet, which was cropped out of my photo, is constant and must always be printed. The section that I attached the photo of is basically a list of all items we ship. I only need to print the rows of items being shipped on a particular order. It’s time consuming to delete every row without a value every time I create a BOL, so I was hoping there was a formula to automate that task…such as if this cell has a value filled in, then print this row. If empty, skip to the next row. Does such a function exist?

    Thank you again!
